Synopsis

Two esteemed architects required new visual identity and system for their emerging firm. The company name, ‘Measured’, suggested something calculated and carefully considered but there was a desire for the identity to also feel fluid, iterative and not regimented – as the word sounds. The firm practiced an open-design methodology and this thinking revealed an opportunity where the process ‘would be’ the identity. The ‘Measured Grid’ is participatory for all involved in the project – including the client. This sense of involvement and play, created an ongoing duality for what was measured or static, and what was dynamic and organic.

A print campaign was also developed to help launch the new visual identity that used wordplay to introduced ‘Measured’.
